Hope Haven offers Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS). BHIS is an in-home/community based program for children and young adults who are dealing with behavioral and emotional issues. This program teaches skills to the child and his/her family that work to reduce or eliminate the negative behavioral reactions to life situations.
The Community Support Program (CSP) is designed to assist adults who have persistent mental health disorders develop skills that support their recovery. The staff can provide support in a variety of ways to assist a person in coping with life issues and or mental health symptoms. These may include improving community awareness, assisting in community and service networking, helping the person identify specific mental health coping tools, discussing current stressors and working through resolutions, aid a person in monitoring their current symptoms, etc.
Individuals providing both these services have Bachelor level degrees or higher in a human service field, and specific training in how to work with the various populations being served.
